It’s getting pretty close to Chrismahanukwanzakah and the last thing on your mind is buying a bra you’re just going to wear under that new sexy top and never wear again. (Plus, we know you’re just going to end up wearing something completely different when you’re rushing to get ready.) This is why having all of your basics in your lingerie drawer at the ready is super important! Here are the bras that will go with everything, for every occasion!
The Backless Bra
If you’ve ever tried a backless bra, you know that these bras come in handy all year round. If you’ve ever needed a little extra coverage and some lift under a white bathing suit, or your NYE outfit calls for sequins and showing some back, the backless bra has literally saved the day. Having a backless in nude or black in your lingerie drawer is an absolute must!
The Strapless Bra
Some of us can’t go full backless, because our cup size is over a D – and that’s ok! A strapless bra doesn’t have to be bulky or slide down, ever. If you’re wearing the right size, a strapless is super clutch. And don’t think you need to be in a tube top to get the full benefit of a strapless – they are perfect for tops that have a wide neckline or go off the shoulder.
The Add 2 Cups Bra
Some occasions require a little extra ‘oomph’ and when you don’t have too much going on in the cleavage department, your go-to should be an add 2 cups bra. This push-up is padded enough to add two extra cup sizes, but in the most natural way ever. A style like this will give you that upward and outward lift, without going overboard. Though it looks natural, this style isn’t meant to come off as subtle – so if you’re wearing a deep-v neckline and you want that extra cleavage, you’ll want to try this style!
The T-Shirt Bra
The t-shirt bra doesn’t feel as special as most bras, but that’s what is so great about it. It’s underrated in so many ways, because most women will wear an ultra lacy bra under a t-shirt and unknowingly are showing it off to the world. T-shirt bras are perfect under tops that are almost sheer and tops that could show off texture (looking at you, silk tops!).
So there you have it. Every bra you’ll need to survive the holiday season and beyond! Now, which one will you try first? Comment below!
